Application: The magnesium oxide is widely used in many fields such

as wastewater treatment, filler and reinforcing agent in rubber,plastics,paint,

paper-making;steel ball abrasive,plasticizer for reinforced resin and coatings

for silicon steel sheet;leather treatment agents,adhesives,dying agent.

It is also used in food industry.In the pharmacutical industry,it is used

as anti-acid agent and aperative;In recent years,it is becoming widely

used in electronics industry.

Application:

Flame-retardance:magnesium hydroxide is essential retarding agent in the

synthetic materials(such asrubber,plastic,cable shell)with environmental-

friendly property.

Environmental protection: Used in desulfonation in furnanve to reduce air

pollution;as nuetralization agent in the acidic waste water replacing soda

ash and lime to reduce secondary pollution and corrosion and block to the

pipeline.

Power plant: Used in burning oil and lubricating oil to prevent the

mechaniacl parts from being corroded at high temperature.
